Celebrate National Trails Day with a hike on the North Country Trail. The North Country Trail
stretches over 4,700 miles through eight states, making it the longest trail in the US. On this
hike we will walk a small section of road, then it’s into the forest traversing downhill through
hardwood and pine forests towards the mouth of Porters Cove then under 422 Bridge to Muddy
Creek Dam that creates Lake Arthur. So, come join us for a hiking adventure to learn some of
the history of Moraine State Park. This hike is considered a more difficult hike, so hikers
should be in good physical shape and be prepared to traverse rocky and uneven terrain.
Bring water and trail snacks to keep your energy up and spirits high.
