We Can Do It! WWII Traveling Exhibit

The exhibit is from the Heinz History Center in Pittsburgh and explores Western Pennsylvania’s impact on the home, industrial and battle fronts during WWII. The Historical Society exhibits include an air raid bunker, fireside chat room, Blue Star/Gold Star Mothers, Wall of Honor, 1940’s kitchen, local industry roles and WWII artifacts.

It showcases Tuskegee Airman Lt. Carl J. Woods, Iwo Jima hero Sgt. Michael Strank, General George C. Marshall and Rosie the Riveter. There will be weekly presentations on WWII topics, re-enactment groups, Jeep displays and WWII movies which will be shown at the historical Warner Bros. Theater in downtown New Castle.  Lawrence County restaurants will also be offering discounts to attendees of the event.

Please note that the exhibit will only be open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays

Event Cost: $5.00, under 18 free – ticket good for duration of event
