24th Annual Lawrence County 4-H Benefit Auction

Everyone is invited to help us make the best, better by attending the 24th Annual Lawrence County 4-H Benefit Auction on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at The New Englander, in New Castle, PA – where all proceeds go directly to the Lawrence County 4-H/Youth Development Program!

Help us transform the lives of our youth members! Donations are now being accepted from local businesses. March 6, 2024 is the last day to guarantee entry into the catalog, however, items are accepted up to the day of the auction. Thanks to the generosity and support of the Lawrence County Community Action Partnership, items will be collected at the LCCAP Frew Mill Campus, Building 4, 1745 Frew Mill Rd, New Castle, PA 16101. Item drop-off times: Thursday, February 7, 2023, 9-11 am, Tuesday, February 21, 2023, 9-11 am, Thursday, February 23, 2023, 6-8 pm, Thursday, March 2, 2023, 6-8 pm, Tuesday, March 7, 2023, 9-11 am, Wednesday, March 8, 2023, 9-11 am

All items are GENEROUSLY offered for sale through volunteer efforts. There is NO CHARGE for admission, facilities are accessible, and refreshments are available. There is both a live and silent auction component with more than 600 items up for grabs ranging from major-league sporting tickets, tools, equipment, entertainment packages, pet care items, toys, and so much more! The auction will begin at 6:00 pm; however, doors will open at 4:30 pm for prospective buyers to review the incredible items being auctioned off during the evening, as well as for attendees to enjoy a variety of food being offered for sale that also supports the program.

All proceeds go directly to the Lawrence County 4-H/Youth Development Program. Funds provide 4-H’ers with scholarships to attend regional, state and national leadership and citizenship development events. In addition, funds cover the state membership fee, meaning members join the program at no cost. The Lawrence County 4-H Program is a non-formal educational youth development program offered through Penn State Extension that teaches and promotes positive life skills through “learn by doing” hands-on activities and all proceeds go directly to the youth programming.
