Cassandra Cook of Cook Speech Therapy and Rehab will be offering two workshops at the New Castle Public Library this month.
Cook, who is one of the Library’s Finest, is a certified speech-language pathologist. She will be conducting two Caregiver and Me, classes. The first is 10 to 10:45 a.m. on Feb. 17 and the second is set for 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. on Feb. 22.
The sessions will provide a multi-sensory approach to learning and language through play, socialization, and the connection between caregiver and child. There will be an age-appropriate theme (ages 0-5) in each session.

That initiative is designed to recognize and celebrate young leaders who are making a significant impact in our community. The Library’s Finest are participating in a friendly competition to raise funds for the library’s Elevate campaign.
