Join Rotary of New Wilmington and Westminster College for a family friendly day celebrating Peace in Our Community!
Afternoon activities happening at Westminster College (Quad and Mueller Theater in McKelvey Campus Center) from 12:30-5:00pm:
– 12:30 – 1:30 PM: Kite Flying and Decorating
– 1:30 PM: Reader’s Theater on Peace
– 2:00 PM: Peace in Our Schools and Community
– 2:30 PM – 5 PM: High School Speech Contest
Family fun in the New Wilmington Borough Park happens in the morning from 10:00am-12:00pm:
– Local Author Meet And Greet (Christine Telesz Sidell, Diane Bell,
Dr. Jenna Cooper, and Deb Sanchez)
– Caillou Parade Balloon
– Reading Stations with Westminster Students
– Arts and Craft Stations
– Kite Decorating
– New Wilmington Fire Department Truck
– David Newell (Mr. McFeely Actor) Meet and Greet
– Giveaways, while supplies last
– Peace Presentation, Amphitheater (11:30 AM)
